Fully carved 7/8 Czech double bass. The maker is unknown. It has a classic Bohemian shape.
Prior to purchasing the bass it was sold to a Chicago bassist in 2001 by Cincinnati Bass Cellar and remained with him until Fall 2019. The bass had several cracks and needed a new bridge, set up, new endpin (New Harmony carbon fiber) and fingerboard work.
Chris Threlkeld completed the work and that work is under warranty until October 15, 2020.
The bass is currently strung with Thomastik Spirocore Weichs.
